Women: 50yds, 220yds, long jump. “ HOLIDAY ” Adapted from the successful stage play of the same name by Philip Barry. "Holiday” presents Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant in a glowing ’ human story with a modern setting. It will be screened at the Geraldine Municipal Theatre to-night at 8.15. Grant is perfect as the young man who values the simple things of life more than wealth and position, while Miss Hepburn is seen as the young heiress who shares his sentiments. They embark on a glorious spreb which cannot fail to appeal to any audience. Other members of the cast include Doris Nolan, Lew Ayres. Edward Everett Horton and Binnie Barnes. PERSONAL Mrs F. B. Graham and her children will spend the school vacation at Tekapo. Miss Dorothy Hall who has been visiting Fairlie, returned to her home at Blenheim yesterday.
