BRITISH DESTROYER SINKS
Majority Of Crew Feared Lost United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Rec. Dec. 14, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 14. The Admiralty announces the loss of the destroyer Duchess, commanded by Lieut-Commander R. C. H. White, in a collision with another British warship, which was undamaged. It is feared that all the crew except one lieutenant and 22 ratings perished.
