Floating Debt Soars British Official Wireless (Received December 13, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 12. The Exchequer returns show that the total of ordinary revenue amounted to £274,898,000 compared with £237,986,000 at the corresponding date last year. The total expenditure, less selfbalancing items, is £781,789.472, compared with £695.132,858 a year ago. The floating debt outstanding at December 9 was £1,472,975,000, a nett increase of £552,665,000 since the beginning of the financial year, and against £1.018.000 at the corresponding date in 193JL
