BILLIARDS AT ILLEGAL HOUR By Telegraph—Press Association GREYMOUTH, November 20. At the Magistrate’s Court John Anderson, aged 25, was fined £7 for using his premises at Waluta as a common gaming house and £3 for permitting games in a billiard saloon when the room was required by law to be closed. Eleven men who were found on the premises were each fined 10/-. An order was made confiscating the dice and shaker that were being used when the premises were visiting by detectives early on Saturday morning.
