SIXPENNY “HANDLES” By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, November 16. Withill the hext few days the first handle of beer to be purchased in a South Island military camp will be handed across the counter, paid for, and consumed. Arrangements for establishing a wet canteen at Burnham .are now in hand. Draught beer only will be stocked —no spirits—and prices will be, large handle 6d, small handle 3d. It is intended that the canteeh will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on account of limited accommodation unite will be admitted in turn
