SON AS BEST MAN
BARONET WEDS AT 70 Sir Richard Arthur Surtees Paget, Baronet, 70-year-old barrister and scientist, of Devonshire Terrace, Lancaster Gate, London, was married at Oxford the other day to Miss Grace Hartley Glover, grand-daughter of his great friend, the late Sir William Ascroft. His son, Mr John Paget, was best man. Miss Glover has been Sir Richard's secretary. His first wife, Lady Muriel Paget, who died last year, was well known for her work in the relief of destitution in Russia and in the Baltic States in the years just after the war. SUCCESSFUL DANCERS Miss Dorothy Thwaites, M.R.A.D., whose students were all successful in passing the Royal Academy Examinations for Operatic Dancing recently held in Christchurch, were again successful in the recent competitions, gaining seven first prizes in fancy dancing, first for classical ballet, cup for tap dancing, and two cups for the highest aggregate points for National Dancing.
