September 12 The Film lhdustf.v Boftrcl of New Zealand, representing all sections ol the motion picture industry, has written to the Prime Minister offering its wholehearted assistance in the crisis ■'lf there is any service which may be regarded as Useful involving the ilse of Films and the screens of our theatres we wish to assure the Government that they are unreservedly at its disposal, says the letter. This offer, for which the Acting Prime Minister has expressed the Gov eminent s cordial thanks, ts made on behalf of the Film Industry Board ovei the signatures of W. F. Stillwell, S. M Chairman arid W. J. Fife, secretary.
