DRUIDS LODGE
The fortnightly meeting of the Timaru Druids Lodge was presided over by A.D. Bro. H. Henry. The
bards reported on the sick members, and £49/11/8 was passed for sick pay A donation was granted to the Leper Fund appeal. A.D.B Bro. Cowles reported on visiting the juvenile meeting and witnessing the initiation of a new member. The secretary stated that owing to the petrol restrictions a bus was not available to take the ladies to Temuka, so the arrangements had been cancelled. P.A. Bro. Brooks reported that the Juvenile Management Committees of Timaru and Christchurch had met and decided to alter the ritual. After the Lodge closed members were entertained with motion pictures of "Ski-ing In the Southern Alps" bv V.A.B Bro. P Young, assisted by Mr Craig.
