SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Waterfront Busy Yesterday Three Vessels Due To-day With three vessels working, the Poit of Timaru was fairly busy yesterday. The Holmglen which arrived on Tuesday and was delayed by rain, left yesterday for Lyttelton after loading for Waikato Heads only. The Waiana arrived from Dunedin and after loading for Wellington and Auckland sailed for Lyttelton and the Holmdale arrived from Dunedin to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui via Lyttelton. The Wainui, which did not arrive yesterday as expected, is now due from Oamaru to-day to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne via Lyttelton. Other vessels due to-day are the Breeze to load for Wellington and Wanganui via Lyttelton, and the Holmlea which will load for Wellington and New Plymouth also via Lyttelton. The Waipiata, from Oamaru, is due on Sunday, and will sail the following day for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Port Waikato is due to-morrow from Dunedin, to load for Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Karu is expected from Oamaru on Tuesday to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via Lyttelton. Due from Bluff on July 2, the Waimarino will load on July 3 for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Storm is due on Tuesday to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. The Poolta is due on July 1 from Oamaru and will sail the same day for Lyttelton. The Port Whangarei is due on July 1 from Dunedin to load for Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei via Lyttelton. Huntingdon Due on Sunday The Federal liner Huntingdon, under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, is at present at New Plymouth loading for London. She is expected to leave New Plymouth to-day for Timaru and is due here on Sunday. She will work at Timaru until Wednesday when she will sail for Port Chalmers to complete, being scheduled to leave that port on July 1 for London via Panama Canal. Tekoa Next Week The Tekoa which has completed discharging British cargo is now loading at Bluff for London, Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. She is due at Timaru on Wednesday from Bluff to continue loading and from here will sail for Wellington and Auckland to complete. She is expected to clear Auckland finally on July 14 for London via Panama Canal. Tamaroa to Call The Tamaroa, which is at present at Lyttelton to commence homeward loading, is expected to leave there on July 28 for Timaru where she is due the following day. After loading for Southampton and London she will leave here for Wellington and Auckland being due to clear the last mentioned port on July 14 for England via Panama Canal.

' Port Dunedin to Load in July The Port Dunedin, which is at present discharging at Wellington, will complete at Lyttelton and Dunedin before commencing homeward loading at Oamaru on July 5. From Oamaru she is due here on July 10 and she will sail on July 13 for Bluff, Auckland and I Gisborne, leaving the last port on July 27 for London via Cape Horn. Turakina on July 13 The Turakina is expected on July 13 from Oamaru in the course of homeward loading. At present she is discharging at Wellington and she will complete discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff before commencing loading at Bluff. She will then proceed to Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth and Auckland, being scheduled to leave Auckland on July 29 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow.
