BALL AT WINCHESTER

SPINSTERS AND BACHELORS The popularity of the Winchester spinsters and bachelors’ ball was emphasised by the large attendance at the Victoria Hall on Wednesday evening. The joint secretaries, Miss J. Cunningham and Mr C. M. Louden, backed by an energetic committee, were responsible for the success of the function. The music was supplied by a Geraldine orchestra. Miss M. Blissett played extras.
