BRITISH CONSUL AT PRAGUE
Government to Seek Recognition British Official Wireless (Received June 20, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 19. In announcing in the House of Commons in answer to a question, that the British Ambassador at Berlin (Sir Neville Henderson) is applying for exequatur for the Consul-General at Prague, Mr R. A. Butler (Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs) stated that while in the British Government’s opinion this step implied a de facto recognition of the present position in Bohemia and Moravia, it did not involve any modification of the views already expressed by Britain on the question.
