SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Weather Delays Vessels Two coastal vessels, the Holmdale from Oamaru, and the Holmglen, from Dunedin, arrived yesterday. Due to leave the same day for Lyttelton, both vessels were detained in port because of the unfavourable weather and will depart for the north to-day. The Holmdale is loading for Wellington, I Picton and Wanganui, and the Holmglen for Waikato Heads. The Waiana, from Dunedin, is due to-day to load for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. Due to-morrow from Bluff, the Wainui will load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, via Lyttelton. The Waipiata, from Oamaru, is due on Sunday, and will sail the following day for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Port Waikato is due on Friday from Dunedin, to load for Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Karu is expected from Oamaru on Tuesday to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via Lyttelton. Trojan Star at Balboa The Blue Star Line has received cabled advice that the Trojan Star reached Balboa last Friday. She left Auckland on May 27 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. City of Delhi at New York Cabled advice has been received that the M.-A.-N.Z. Line steamer City of Delhi reached New York last Thursday. She loaded to the agency of the Federal Company and left Auckland on May 18 for New York, Boston and Montreal, via the Panama Canal. Canadian Ships Sold Tile M.-A.-N.Z. Line steamers Canadian Constructor and Canadian Challenger have been sold to British buyers. The Canadian Constructor, of 7178 tons gross, was built at Halifax in 1922, while the Canadian Challenger, 5439 tons gross, was built in 1921 at Levis, Quebec.

Wairuna Loses an Anchor The Union Company's Wairuna, ' which has been laid up in the stream i at Wellington for some time, lost an anchor several days ago when one of her mooring cables parted.
