HIGHFIELD CLUB The members and friends of the Highfield Bowling Club held a very successful bridge and five hundred evening on Tuesday last, combined with the ladies’ section of the club, for the purpose of the presentation of cups and trophies won during the season. These were presented by Mr L. B. Pearson (president) and Mrs G. M. Morrison (president of the ladies’ section). Cups were won by: M. Vucetich (champion singles). A. Greyburn (handicap singles), R. Wilson (25 points compeiltion), and R. Hart and G. Morrison (handicap doubles). The successful lady competitors were: Mrs Howard (champion singles and handicap singles), Mrs Moore and Mrs Barker (handicap doubles); and for the 1937-38 season, Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Kennedy (handicap doubles) and Mrs Keast (handicap singles).
