WINGATUI TRACK WORK By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, May 31. Practically no fast work was done at Wingatui this morning, though the tracks were in perfect condition. Valantua was going easily throughout five furlongs on the inside grass track in Imin 7 l-ssec. Peacock did much better than Roseman or Freecourse over six furlongs in Imin 21 3-ssec.

After his gallop yesterday, High Glee showed signs of lameness on cooling off, and this morning his trainer-owner said he would not be started at the meeting. Passaform and Neptune both look well. The former will be ridden by R. E. Humphries in the Birthday Handicap.

Gold Wren, looking well after racing at Washdyke, was let off with easy work, but, in company with several other jumpers, is likely to be schooled to-morrow.
