Seas (New Zealand waters)—Rather rough at times in the far south, elsewhere slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea—Light to moderate and variable winds with east to north predominating; seas light to moderate. Weather—An isolated shower or two on the east coast of the North Island and in the far south, otherwise fair to fine; moderate day but cold night temperatures with some frosts and morning fogs.
