WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL APPOINTMENT OF ASSESSOR PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Waimate County Council intends to appoint an Assessor to the Assessment Court under the provision of “The Valuation of Land Act, 1925” and its Amendments, and I heieby appoint MONDAY, the 24th day of APRIL, 1939, as the time for the nomination of Candidates for such position. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Waimate County Council held on the 27th day of March, 1939, the said Council in pursuance and exercise of the powers conf cred upon it by Section 6 of “The Water Supply Act. 1908, resolves and declares by way of Special Order to constitute a Special District, as from the 24th day of April, 1939, for the purpose of the construction of water races therein. The name of the proposed District to be “The Dowr’ands (Lower Pareora) Water Supply District, and the plan of the said District and a full description of the boundaries thereof and a copy of the proposed Special Order are deposited at the office of the Waimate County Council, Queen Street, Waimate. and may be inspected wi.hout fee until Noon of the 24th day of April, 1939, at which last mentioned date the said Cour. 1 will adopt a resolution confirming the said Special Order.
