STEWARDS SACKED
DISSATISFACTION ON GREAT LINER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, March 22. As a result of dissensions and discontent which has existed in the crew’s quarters on the Dominion Monarch since the liner left Southampton, fourteen stewards were dismissed at Sydney. No reason was given by the officers or owners for the action, but about 60 stewards held a meeting of protest against their accommodation and conditions.
