Waterfront Active Orari Completes The arrival and departure of two coastal vessels made the Port of Timaru fairly active yesterday. The Waipahi arrived on Thursday night from Oamaru and after loading for Wellington, Nelson nd New Plymouth sailed for Lyttelton. The Gale arrived from Oamaru and loaded for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, sailing later for Lyttelton. There is only one vessel due to-day. ARRIVALS January 13 Waipahi, s.s„ 1783 tons (A. T. Feb. 18 COASTAL VESSELS Listed Movements The Port Waikato, from Dunedin, is due on Thursday to load for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Poolta, from Westport direct, is due to-day to discharge coal, and will sail the same day for Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Holmdale is due on Tuesday from Oamaru and after loading for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui she will sail the same day for Lyttelton. The Storm is due on Wednesday from Dunedin to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui via Lyttelton. The Breeze is due from Dunedin on Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. She will sail the same day for Lyttelton to complete loading. From Bluff and Dunedin the Waimarino is due to-morrow to load for Wellington and Auckland via Lyttelton. To load for Sydney the Waikouaiti Wellington and Auckland via Lyttelton on Monday. The Narbada is due at Timaru on Wednesday, sailing the same day for Dunedin. London’s Shipping During the week ended December 9. 951 vessels, representing 1,056,113 net register tons, used the Port of London. Of these, 549 vessels (865,477 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports, and 402 vessels' (190,666 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included five meat cargoes—viz., two from Australia and three from South America —comprising 87,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, 102,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits, and sundries. Twenty-four timber-laden vessels docked in the Surrey commercial docks with 48,000 tons of softwood. Maimoa’s Itinerary The Maimoa, which is at present discharging in Australia, has been given a new loading schedule in New Zealand. She will now load at Picton first from January 18 to January 20, then Lyttelton, January 21-23; Wellington, January 24-26; Napier, January 27-30; and Auckland. February 1-7.
