DESIGN APPROVED
MEMORIAL TO KING GEORGE V. British Official Wireless (Received January 13, 6.30 pan.) RUGBY, January 12. The King and Queen and Queen Mary have given final approval to the design of the memorial to George V, which is to be erected in a site adjacent to Westminster Abbey. The architect scheme, the central feature of which is a statue under a stone canopy, is the work of Sir Giles Scott, and the statue is by Sir William Dick.
