BALL AT GERALDINE

COMPLIMENT TO MR J. A. KEARTON One of the most successful dances to be held in the Geraldine Town Hall took place on Thursday evening when about 450 patrons were present at a Grand Labour Ball complimentary to Mr J. A. Kearton, and held under the auspices of the Temuka Labour Representation Committee. Much credit is due to Messrs D. O’Connor,' W, P. Tagney, Mr P. M. McKenzie, for successfully organising the function. During the evening Highland dances were given by Miss Joyce Wright of Orari. Music was supplied by a local orchestra.
