Five Persons Injured PARENTS AND CHILDREN By TelfgrapD—Er esc association PALMERSTON N„ December At Shannon, this afternoon, a southbound Napier express struck a car driven by Arthur John Hodge, sharemilker, of Moutoa, who was accompanied by his wife and three children. Hodge suffered head injuries and a fracture of the left thigh; his wife, shock; Bertha Hodge, aged 16, fracture of the left thigh; Dorothy Hodge, aged five, broken leg; Edwin Hodge, aged two, possible internal injuries. AU were admitted to hospital. "he car, an old touring model, was considerably damaged. It was carried 100 feet beyond the crossing.
