ANGLICAN CHURCH BAZAAR A. successful bazaar in aid of the Anglican was held in the public hall. The function was opened by the vicar the Rev. H. I. Hopkins. The various stalls were well stocked with produce, sweets, cakes and needlework and the patronage was most pleasing to the workers. Those in charge of the various stalls were:—Variety, Mesdames J. Pateman and R. Depree; cake, Mesdames R. Munro, C. Moor, H. Anderson; produce, Mesdames R. Baker; L. Hayward, Messrs P. A. Coote and G. Burling; sweets, Mrs C. Beck, Misses L. Coote, H. Lange, M. Clelland; bran tub, Misses R. Munro and E. Haywood; afternoon tea, Mesdames P. Coote, R. Davison, R. Darling, G. Agnew and Miss J. Munro; competitions, Mrs Bannerman and Mr H. Anderson. Competitions were won by Mrs R. Davison, Miss N. Clelland, Miss R. Munro, Mrs W. Morgan, Messrs L. Sullivan, J. Aitcheson and Master A. Whitticase.
