AIR RAID WARNING
LONDON SIGNALS TO BE TESTED British Official Wireless (Received December 2, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, December 1. The biggest test of the air raid warning signals in Britain will be made on December 8, when one hundred sirens installed at selected police stations in Greater London will be sounded simultaneously. The object of the test is to determine whether or not the sirens give adequate warning cover within the area.
