The Slovak Premier (Dr. Tiso), announced that the Slovak Peoples' Party is the only legal political party. He issued a warning that those opposing it were enemies and traitors of the nation, which would act mercilessly. The Bratislava correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” says: “Excesses of the Hlinka Guards and Storm Troopers are so serious, that a Government order has been broadcast for bifid mg the searching of passers-by and the removal of valuables. Despite this order, Hlinka Guards, without authority, delayed the Prague express and searched the passengers. Scores of shop windows have been shattered as the result of the antiSemitic riots. Thousands of foreign Jews are being rounded up and expelled from territories ceded to Hungary.
