BRITISH STEEL COMPANY’S SUCCESS CHAIRMAN MAY VISIT NEW ZEALAND Independent Cable Service (Received November 4, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, November s. Lord Strabolgi, chairman of the Midland Steel Company which in the face of the keenest America- competition, successfully tendered for the erection of an Amusement Park for the New Zealand Exhibition, plans to go to New Zealand personally, to supervise some of the work. Lord Strabolgi said: “While in New Zealand I will attend meetings of the Empire Parliamentary Association. I am looking forward to renewing friendship with Mr Savage and other New Zealanders. I may also get in a few days big game fishing.’ Big shipments of tubular steel are at present being prepared in England.
