LABOURER’S DEATH
SUICIDE IN HOSPITAL By Telegraph—Press Association HOKITIKA, November 4 Augustus Patrick Gawne, labourer, of Waiho, a patient, committed suicide in the Westland Hospital last night, by tying a pyjama cord round his neck, suspended from a bed post. He was aged 69, a widower, with three young children.
