Four Birdies by Mclntosh Locke Very Steady By Telegraph —Press Association WELLINGTON, November 4. In an exhibition match played in the rain at Miramar “Bobby” Locke and J. D. Mclntosh defeated A. J. Shaw and R. C. Butters 6—5. The South African’s steadiness was a feature of the match. Locke was out in 37 and home in 36. His partner, Mclntosh, was out in 39 and home in 33. Mclntosh’s 33 was brilliant golf and included three birdies in succession, and fovr birdies in five holes.
