SALES OF WOOL
STRONG COMPETITION CONTINUES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrlgh t (Received November 3, 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 3. The wool sales closed with very strong competition from the Continent and Yorkshire and good support from Japan, greasy merino making 20id per lb. The total number of bales sold was 14,125. The average price per bale, for the first three days this week was £l3/8/5 a bale.
