The weather was fine and warm and there was a good attendance at Flemington for the third day of the Victoria Racing Club’s meeting. Dominor had little difficulty in repeating his Cup day win in the November Hurdle. He has now had six hurdle wins in succession. Aspire was prominent all the wavon the outside rail and had a comfortable win in the Byron Moore Stakes. He cost 1200 guineas as a yearling. He has registered two wins and a second in three starts and looks a Derby proposition. Ajax was untroubled in the Linlithgow Stakes and registered his thirteenth successive win.
