RUMOURS OF STAFF CHANGES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 2. 6.30 pm.) GENEVA, November 1. Rumours of the resignation from the League of Nations of high officials is officially denied. The Budgetary Economies Committee, which is regarded as a reorganising committee for the staffs of the secretariat and the Labour Office, is sitting on November 15. which “The Times” points out will restrain, at least temporarily, the rumours of resignations and dismissals. The paper adds: "The somewhat vague denial implies that the officials who are leaving are doing so as the result of reductions and changes already decided."
