Legislators Protected. A London message states that the Peers and Members of Parliament on returning to the Houses of Parliament will find all the ground-floor rooms made gasproof and the doors lined with rubber. Faster Air Service. It is reported from the Hague that the Holland-Java air service is being reduced in the near future from five and a-lialf to two and a-half days by continuous day and night flying and few landings. It may operate twice a wpek Instead of three times a week. Last Heights Captured. A Burgos message states that the Rebel authorities report the capture of the remaining heights on the Ebro front. Colony Rumour Denied. It is reported from Brussels that the Minister for Colonies characterised as without foundation the rumours of cession of part of the Belgian Congo to Germany. He added that the Belgian Congo was not stolen and would remain Belgian. Henlein a Nazi Leader. A Berlin message states that Herr Henlein has been appointed District Leader of the Sudeten German Nazi Party in which the Sudeten Party has been absorbed. Canadian Minister Resigns. It is reported from Ottawa that the Canadian Government announces the resignation of the Hon. Randolph Bruce who was appointed Minister at JTokio in 1936.
