SUCCESS OF GLASGOW EXHIBITION United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Cop vrtg nt (Received October 30, 7.30 p.m.) GLASGOW, October 22. The closing day’s attendance at Glasgow Exhibition, namely 347,492, exceeded Weinbley’c record by 21,492. Thousands danced reels in Lambeth Walk and sang Auld Lang Syne hand in hand. The attendance totalled 12,500,000 from all parts of the world. The Exhibition on Thursday welcomed its twelve millionth visitor, who was a Glasgow woman. She was presented by the board of management with a gold watch and a cheque for £lO, and was given the freedom of the exhibition, which closes to-day.
