Safeguard is small bottle of iodine with brush to paint over cuts or bruises.
sifted scant cupful flour and sufficient milk to make the mixture the consistency of a sponge cake batter. Mix in 1 teaspoonful baking powder, quickly, and bake in small patty tins in a quick oven. Ice when cold. Rhubarb Meringue. One pound rhubarb, Jib. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 lemon. Steam rhubarb with half the sugar till tender. Strain off the juice and rub rhubarb through a strainer. Put juice into saucepan and reduce to 1 gill. Add to the rhubarb ali j?uree.
