VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND 4 By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, October 28. A distinguished Scotsman arrived by the Monterey—the Very Rev. Dr Dugald Macfarlane, formerly Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Auckland Scots, including a piper, gave him a warm welcome as the ship berthed. Dr Macfarlane will attend the Presbyterian General Assembly at Dunedin next week, and in the course of his address will deliver a commission to the Church of this country. He will leave for Wellington to-night. After visiting Dunedin he will go to Hawke's Bay, where he has relatives.
