Constable D. F. Ross who has been stationed in Wellington for five years, has been transferred on promotion to Palmerston North.

Sir Carrick Robertson, representing the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and Professor C. E. Hercus, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Otago University College, have been nominated as members of the council on staff appointments at the Auckland Hospital.
Mr E. P. V. Sealy, who has been manager of the Wanganui branch of the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., for the past 10 years, will retire on superannuation at the end of this year, after completing approximately 42 years of service. Mr Sealy commenced his service with the Bank at Timaru, and was manager here prior to his transfer to Wanganui.
