RUGBY SUB-UNION

OFFICIALS’ SERVICES RECOGNISED "That the Waimate Sub-Union, recognising the services to Rugby in South Canterbury and in particular the consideration shown to the SubUnion during his term as president, congratulated Mr J. Harley on his successful term of office, and expresses its appreciation of his valuable contribution to Rugby football,” was the text of a motion carried at a meeting of the Waimate Rugby Sub-Union. Recogniiton of the services of the Sub-Union’s delegate to the South Canterbury Rugby Union, Mr D. M. Webster, was recorded, and appreciation of the ready co-operation of the South Canterbury Rugby Union, especially in the matter of the senior grade competition, was expressed. The president of the Huimal Football Club, Mr F. J. Bailey, extended to members an invitation to be present at it. j club’s dance.
