SEQUEL TO TRAGIC DEATH

VERDICT OF CORONER’S JURY) United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received October 26, 6.30 p.m.) ONTARIO, October 25. The coroner’s jury returned a verdiet that Daniel Dodge was accidentally drowned when he fell from a speedboat when racing for treatment for wounds received in a dynamite explosion, when he was injured painfully, but not fatally, according to medical evidence.

Daniel Dodge, aged 21, heir to a 9,000,000 dollars motor-car fortune, met a tragic death on August 15 in the lake district, at Mindemoya, Ontario. He found a stick of dynamite at a hunting lodge where he was spending his honeymoon with a former telephone girl whom he married on August 2 after a romantic courtship. Dodge was drying the dynamite inside the lodge when it exploded. His face was mangled and his wife’s legs Injured. The caretaker, Bryant, was also seriously injured and was not expected to recover. A launch was bringing the party back to Ontario when Dodge, apparently driven crazy with pain, suddenly jumped overboard into 90 feet of water. His body had not been recovered.
