SOUTHBURN
DRAMA CLUB The Southburn Drama Club recently held its annual concert and dance. Music for the dance was supplied by Messrs George and Frank Hoare, assisted by Miss M. Evans. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss E. Ivey and Mr D. Chamberlain, and a lucky spot by Miss M. Evans and Mr H. Gibson. The following items comprised the programme:—Pianoforte solo, Mr Ray Simmons; play, Misses Mary Chamberlain, Ella Kinross, Mesrs Evan Evans, Robt. Parry, Ivan Murray, and Horace Gibson; song, Mr D. Chamberlain; play, Misses Merle Bennett, Myra Evans,. Marjorie Caird, Ella Kinross, and Mr A. Lambourne; song. Southburn School pupils; play, Messrs Doxon, Chamberlain, Walter Kinross, Evan Evans and Kelvin Bishop; song, Miss M. Bennett; play, Mrs P. Murray, Mrs Chamberlain, Messrs H. Gibson, and H. Bishop; song, Mr D. Chamberlain.
