KEEN COMPETITION IN SYDNEY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received September 28, 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 28. The wool sales were resumed to-day, 17,515 bales being offered and 15,230 sold, also 1501 privately. There was keen general competition, particularly from Yorkshire, with good support from the Continent and Japan. Values were firm on closing rates of last week for all of the best descriptions. Greasy merino made to 16d per lb.
