ELECTRICAL STORM
HEAVY FALL OF HAIL By Telegraph—Presfe Association WHANGAREI, September 28. A hailstorm, unprecedented in intensity, swept a portion of the Otamatea County yesterday, covering the hills to a depth of six inches. On some roads cars had difficulty in forcing their way through practically solid ice. The Power Board employees were forced to cease work owing to lightning. Despite the visitation the day was warm and sultry.
