At the wool sales 10,332 bales were offered, including 4123 New Zealand; 8551 bales were sold. There was a good selection and active competition. Crossbreds sold well, favouring sellers. Merinos were frequently withdrawn owing to firm limits. New Zealand greasy crossbred, “Inepu” top lid, average lOd; slipe, halfbred lambs “Balclutha” 13ld.
