NEW ZEALANDER RETURNS United Press Association —By Electric Teleeraph -Convrlght MELBOURNE, August 27. Mr L. G. Tennent, who left New Zealand in 1900 for the Boer War, returned from Africa in the Norwegian ship Templer to-day on his way to visit a brother, Dr. Alan Tennent, of Wellington, whom he has never seen. He sid that after the Boer War he became a tourist guide in the African hinterland, but later engaged in mining farming and then served in the Great War. He is now secretary of a shipping company at Dares Salaam.
