New Head Mistress ARRIVAL NEXT MONTH Miss H. J. Clarke M.A. will arrive in New Zealand in September to take up the position of head mistress of the Craighead Diocesan School for Girls at Timaru. Miss Clarke, who is a Master of Arts, holds the English Higher Diploma of Education. She comes from the staff
of St. James School, West Malvern, noted as one of the best Girls’ Schools in England.
Possessing an outstanding personality, Miss Clarke is an enthusiast for all the latest developments in educational methods.
The Board of Governors is fortunate in bringing to New Zealand a head mistress who should be an acquisition to the educational life of the community.
