In order to help thousands of loyal Communists who were unjustly treated in last year’s clean-up, the Communist Party secured the review of 85,000 appeals, which resulted in 48,000 exonerations and re-instatements. Appeals lodged of the 100.060 in 1938, 75,000 are being considered.
