Dr. Gauleiter Forester, the Nazi “boss" at Danzig is at present on a private visit to London. It is believed he seeks to ascertain whether the British interest in maintaining the constitution of Danzig has weakened. The visit is similar to that of Herr Henlein, the leader of the Sudeten Germans. It is unlikely he will be received by Mr Chamberlain and Lord Halifax, but he may sound prominent members of all parties as to how they would regard a Nazi coup in Danzig.
