ASSOCIATION CODE
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE A meeting of the Management Committee of the South Canterbury Football Association was held on Monday. Present —Messrs R. Taylor, L. Wynn, R. Green, H. Dods, J. Duncan, H. Fleetwood and A. Taylor (acting chairman). The Rugby Union was granted the use of the iron barrow to mark grounds provided it was not being used by the Association. Particulars of the primary schools’ tournament were received, and Timaru was invited to play in the lightweight or heavyweight divisions. It was agreed to endeavour to enter a team in each division and if funds permitted to “cap” each representative.
An instructional school for referees, players and schoolboys is being held on Tuesday nights at the Y.M.C.A. An application from Technical for the re-transfer of Fulton was granted. It was decided to enforce the rule that a player automatically becomes a senior on his third senior game, end can only be regraded on application to the centre.
The honorary membership subscription was fixed at 5/-.
Owing to the heavy frosts it was found impossible to play matches last Saturday morning and, the games will have to be carried on in the afternoon.
