INTERESTING POLL TN UNITED STATE. United Press Association—By Electric Te legrapb —Copy right (Received July 12. 7.15 p.m.) NEW YORK. July 11. Early returns in the poll conducted by the American Olympic Committee among the inter-collegiate track and field champions and members of the 1936 American Olympic team, indicate virtual unanimity of opinion that the United States should participate in the 1940 games. The poll, which is unprecedented, arose from an unusual degree of popular protest against the holding oi the contest in Japan. It is now believed that the committee has approved of the United States
