The finals of the Dutch tennis championships resulted:— Men’s Singles Kukuljevic (Yugo-Slavia) defeated Hughan 6-4, 6-3. Women’s Singles Mrs Heine-Miller (South Africa) defeated Miss Wynne (Australia) 6-0, 6-2. Mixed Doubles Hughan and Mrs Hopman defeated De Borman and Mrs Heine-Miller 8-6, 9-7. Women’s Doubles Mrs Heine-Miller and Miss Morphew defeated Miss Wynne and Miss Coyne (Australia) 10-8, 8-6. The finals of the Czecho-Slovakian tennis championships resulted:— Men’s Singles J. D. Budge (U.S.A.) defeated L. Hecht (Germany), 6-1, 7-5, G-4. Men’s Doubles Budge and Mako (U.S.A.) defeated Hecht and Drobny (Germany), 6-3, 7-5, 9-7. GERMAN SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE HOLDER ELIMINATED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright HAMBURG, July 10. In the third round of the German men’s tennis championship singles Pollizza (France) defeated Henkel (Germany), the title-holder, 6-4, 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.
