NORRIE CUP COMPETITION West End won the Norrie Cup crosscountry race, which was conducted from West End Park, Timaru, on Saturday. The junior event for the Maxwell Memorial Cup was won by Timaru A. The Norrie Cup was run from West End Park, along Otipua Road to Morgan’s Road, along Page's Road, across the paddocks to the Glen-iti Store, and down Wai-iti Road and home. Twenty-seven runners took part. The junior race was run over a shorter course and attracted 29 runners. Results:—
