Mr J. I. Craig, economic adviser to the Ministry of Finance, Egypt, will revisit the Dominion this month, arriving in Auckland on July 20. Mr Ben Smith, late on the staff of the Timaru Box Co., Ltd., left by the express this morning for Tapanui to take up an appointment on the staff of the State Forest Service. Mr Herbert K. Edie, a member of the Otago Mortgage Adjustment Commission, is announced as the official Labour Party candidate for Clutha, subject to the confirmation of the National Executive of the New Zealand Labour Party. The Rev. Father Terry, of Auckland, has passed his examination at the National University, Dublin, for the Higher Diploma of Education, securing both first-class honours and first place. Father Terry will sit for his M.A. degree in September.
